AEW Collision Viewership Increases On 5/8, Demo Also Rises

AEW Collision saw an increase in viewership for the May 8 episode with a shift from Saturday to Thursday.

According to Programming Insider, Collision averaged 382,000 viewers on Thursday. The show drew a 0.09 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 341,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week’s show (0.06 rating in the same demographic).

Viewership for Thursday’s show on MAX is unknown at this time.

What happened on AEW Collision this week?

This week’s show kicked off with AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm cutting a hilarious promo like only she can.

Ricochet picked up a win over Angelico. After the match, Ricochet picked a fight with Zach Gowen, who was in the crowd for the event, and ripped off his leg.

Elsewhere on the show, Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Dralistico.

In the main event of the evening, Dax Harwood defeated Daniel Garcia via disqualification when Nigel McGuinness got involved after being provoked at the commentary table.
