Logan Paul is sorry.
At WWE WrestleMania 41, Logan Paul defeated AJ Styles after distractions from a member of his entourage and Karrion Kross. Along the way, Paul originally envisioned WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin being involved as well, specifically in a PRIME bottle costume.
Unfortunately for Paul, Austin turned down his million-dollar offer to do so, then expressed unhappiness about “The Maverick” revealing their personal business in a public manner. In his latest YouTube vlog, Paul apologized to Austin, or rather, an image of his face on the side of a WWE production truck.
Logan Paul apologizes to “Mr. Cold”
“Mr. Cold, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize. I didn’t mean to expose any private business conversations,” Paul said before noting his foggy mental state during the time of his previous statement.
“I was hung over, I had a crazy night in Vegas, I was on my podcast. Sometimes I say too much. In fact, most times I say too much, Steve. I have a big mouth and a platform to say a bunch of s*** and I said a bunch of s***. I’m sorry, Steve. I hope I didn’t ruin our relationship. I hope we can work together in the future. By the way, I completely understand why you wouldn’t accept a million dollars to get in the prime bottle. It’s not your thing. We knew it was a reach, Steve, but you’re a legend and you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, Steve. So we tried, it didn’t work out this time, but I hope to see you in the future. I hope you’re not mad at me, Mr. Cold.”
As of this writing, it is unknown if Austin will accept Paul’s apology. In the meantime, Paul eyes a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, a title currently held by Jey Uso.
