Josh Peck Criticizes Logic Behind WWE Post-Show Press Conferences

It is a common practice in the realm of sports to conduct press conferences following a sports event. In recent times, it has become a tradition in the realm of professional wrestling to conduct post-show press conferences. New Japan Pro Wrestling had been doing it for a long time. Now, the biggest company in professional wrestling, WWE, has also joined in on the tradition. Recently, Drake and Josh Fame Josh Peck shared his thoughts on professional wrestling shows conducting post-show press conferences.

Josh Peck wants to achieve one of his dreams by attending WrestleMania. This year’s event saw John Cena winning his 17th WWE Undisputed Championship. But the one thing that baffled Peck was the fact that there was a post-show press conference in which the press asked Cena about how he felt winning the championship. Josh Peck was dumbfounded as he found it silly to have a press conference to talk about a show that was completely scripted.

“It is my dream to one day go to WrestleMania. And it just happened over the weekend. And John Cena wound up winning WrestleMania. Later, I see a press conference with John Cena where he talks about winning, like you do after a sporting event. Except this sport is scripted. What are you? Nuts? You knew you were gonna win… And no shade on WWE, I love it. These guys are true athletes. It’s Sports Entertainment,” Josh Peck said.
