Seth Rollins has finally opened up about his newfound alliance with Paul Heyman.
Heyman pulled off, as Michael Cole put it, the “betrayal of the century,” by turning against both CM Punk and Roman Reigns and aligning with Rollins in the process at WrestleMania 41.
Seth Rollins recently appeared on The Rich Eisen Show to address his partnership with Paul Heyman, noting it was purely business compared to what the Wiseman shared with Punk and Reigns in the past.
“This is a business relationship and that’s the beauty of it,” Rollins said. “I don’t want to get too deep into it, but you have the two greatest minds in the history of our industry coming together to create and push forward for the future of our industry. Roman Reigns ain’t around enough. CM Punk is not reliable enough. I am both of those things.”
Seth Rollins says he isn’t worried about any betrayals
Elaborating on the nature of his relationship with Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins said he and the Wiseman will always do what is best for business. Additionally, Rollins isn’t worried about getting betrayed like the two men he bested at WrestleMania 41.
“Paul Heyman is dedicated to this industry,” said Rollins. He will always do what is best for business, and so will I. That is a nice arrangement. I’m smarter than those two, Punk and Roman. I’m not worried about any betrayals or any chaos like that. We got this thing dialed in. I’m very excited to see where it leads us.” (H/T Fightful)
Rollins and Heyman will be on RAW tonight alongside Bron Breakker. Breakker revealed himself as the newest member of the supposed Dangerous Alliance on the RAW after WrestleMania. The former two-time Intercontinental Champion helped Rollins and Heyman fend off Punk and Reigns.
