Trick Williams Makes Shocking Appearance At TNA Rebellion

WWE NXT Superstar Trick Williams makes a bold statement at TNA Rebellion.

The main event of TNA Rebellion featured a thrilling TNA World Championship Triple Threat Match in a no-disqualification format, with Joe Hendry defending his title against Frankie Kazarian and Ethan Page.

During the climax, Ethan Page tried to strike Joe Hendry with the title, but Hendry dodged it. Page then slammed Hendry face-first onto the title with a cutter. However, Hendry kicked out at two. The champion quickly retaliated with a standing ovation and successfully retained his championship.

However, Joe Hendry’s celebration didn’t last long. WWE NXT superstar Trick Williams suddenly entered the ring, delivering a spinning kick to Hendry from behind. As Hendry tried to recover, Williams hit him with a powerful Trick shot.

Following his attack, Williams picked up the TNA World Title, making it clear that he has his sights set on the championship.

Last week on WWE NXT, Joe Hendry surprised everyone with an unexpected appearance. He exchanged words with Trick Williams and NXT Champion Oba Femi. The segment concluded when Hendry and Femi threw Williams out of the ring, setting up a face-off between the two in the ring.

During an interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard, Trick Williams spoke about making history at Stand & Deliver 2025. Williams also noted that he made history last year with Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver 2024, marking the first time two Black men headlined a WWE show.

“Representation matters. Everybody should feel represented, everybody should be able to turn on their television set and feel inspired by what they see,” Williams said. “They should feel like their dreams are possible, that anybody can make it happen. So, I’m glad we were able to do that today, and same thing last year. Me and Melo made history, it was the first time since Booker T and The Rock did the same thing, so it was an honor.”

Trick shared what he learned about Je’Von Evans, who got a very favorable response from the fans in Las Vegas.
