AEW TNT Champion Adam Cole recently revealed several stars he’d like to face as part of his open challenge.
Since winning the TNT Championship at AEW Dynasty against Daniel Garcia. Adam Cole kicked off his open challenge where he faced off against Claudio Castagnoli in his first title defense. The two stars faced off last week on AEW Collision, which saw Cole retaining his title.
AEW’s tagline, “Where the Best Wrestle,” has certainly delivered incredible matches over the years. With such a stacked roster, Adam Cole has a few specific names on his mind. Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, when asked about his open challenge, Cole shared that he already has a few standout names in mind for future matches.
“Oh man, again, the tagline of “we’re the best” when you look at our roster. I mean, it really is stacked with the best wrestlers in the world. There are so many guys that I would love to face that I haven’t had the chance to within AEW. Will Ospreay is a guy I’d love to step into the ring with. Kevin Knight is absolutely incredible. He’s done an unreal job. I’d love to step into the ring with him.”

“For the longest time, Daniel Garcia was someone I wanted to fight, and when we had a trilogy of matches, which was fun. There are just so many guys on our roster that I would love to step into the ring with. Part of the reason that the open challenge happened is to get the chance to. You know, face off and step into the ring with some of these guys who I hopefully will get the chance to do so, ’cause I’ve got to solidify myself as the best TNT champion of all time.”
