A man went viral for all the wrong reasons after he epically failed a Shooting Star Press off a table during a party.
The account Big Content Guy shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, an epic fails video of a man attempting one of professional wrestling’s most dangerous moves the Shooting Star Press. The problem? This was no wrestling ring. This was someone’s backyard party and the guy was clearly not trained.
In the video, the man climbs on the table as he jumps off and flips backward in the air. He tries to land like a professional wrestler. But instead of landing on anyone or anything perfectly, he crashes straight to the ground. His head and neck hit the floor hard, and he appears to knock himself out.

There’s a reason why professional wrestling always says, “Please don’t try this at home.” Moves like the Shooting Star Press should only be done by trained professionals. Wrestlers spend years learning how to perform these moves safely. The guy in the video clearly didn’t have that training, and it ended very badly for him.
This video reminds fans why they shouldn’t try wrestling moves at home but even the pros have had scary moments with the Shooting Star Press. One of the most well-known infamous incident happened at WWE WrestleMania 19 in 2003.
Brock Lesnar tried to hit the move on Kurt Angle but landed badly and gave himself a serious concussion. Still, Lesnar pushed through the pain, finished the match, and beat Angle to win the WWE Championship.
Recently, Kurt Angle shared his thoughts on that moment and recalled how he feared that Brock Lesnar had seriously injured his neck after the failed move.
