LA Knight wasn’t aware that he had heat with Drew McIntyre for “getting his shit in” during the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE United States Champion LA Knight was a recent guest on Gorilla Position. When asked about the reported heat he had with Drew McIntyre following what went down in the Royal Rumble match, Knight said at the time he had no idea.
“He had to leave because the show was over. At some point, everybody has to go home. He stormed out? I didn’t even know. No idea,” LA Knight admitted. “I got to the back, I got the monitor, I saw the rest of the deal. He was already back there before I was. His ass got tossed already. I didn’t know anything about it. I didn’t know anything about it until I was sitting at home Sunday night and somebody sent me an article, I was like, ‘Ah, that’s interesting.'”
When asked how these things are dealt with in WWE, Knight wouldn’t say much other than the fact that some conversations took place.
“I can’t tell you the inner workings here, but there were some conversations had,” LA Knight said. “I will tell you that.” [H/T: Fightful]
LA Knight is scheduled to defend the United States Championship against Jacob Fatu later this month at WWE WrestleMania 41.
