We now know who will be inducting most of the class of the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame.
Tonight on WWE SmackDown, it was announced that the following names would be inducting this year’s class into the Hall of Fame.
- Shawn Michaels will induct Triple H
- The Undertaker will induct Michelle McCool
- Diamond Dallas Page will induct Lex Luger
- CM Punk will induct the WrestleMania 13 match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin
Oddly enough, no inductors were listed for The Natural Disasters. As of this writing, it’s unknown what that situation is as of yet.
The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame will stream live at 1 AM ET on Saturday, April 19, on Peacock.
Sting will not induct Lex Luger into the WWE Hall of Fame
After weeks of speculation, it’s now confirmed that Sting will not be able to induct Lex Luger into the WWE Hall of Fame next weekend.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan was recently asked about the possibility of Sting inducting Lex Luger into the WWE Hall of Fame, and Khan revealed that no one, including Sting, had asked him for permission to do so.
“I’m not sure,” Tony Khan admitted. “I’m very focused on AEW Dynasty, which obviously is a few days away. I talked to Sting recently before AEW Revolution, looking back on some great memories. Of course, it’s hard to think of AEW Revolution without thinking of Sting. He debuted in AEW at Revolution, and then ended his career at Revolution three years later.
“So I’ll always think of Sting during Revolution season. We caught up on the phone right around the pay-per-view, and that was the last time we had spoken. So I haven’t heard from him about that, but certainly he’s doing very well, and that relationship and that friendship mean so much to me, and we’re all very grateful for Sting.
“I was just doing an interview earlier where they asked me some questions about Sting. And anytime I get asked, I will speak glowingly, lovingly and as the biggest Sting fan. So I have to say, the last time I talked to Sting, that didn’t come up, but I would have to talk to him about that. And like I said, I’m very focused on Dynasty and excited for Sunday. Thanks for asking.”
