What’s going on with Chris Jericho and All Elite Wrestling following Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite?
During a “TV Time” segment this week on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho had a temper tantrum over everyone in The Learning Tree losing their matches at Dynasty. Jericho said he needed to go away for a while and stormed out while the crowd sang Nananana Hey Hey Hey Goodbye. With Jericho’s AEW contract set to expire later this year, what did Wednesday’s segment mean?
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jericho is taking some time off from AEW due to an upcoming tour for his band Fozzy.
Despite only one tour date falling on a Wednesday, Jericho believes now is the right time for him to take a break, and there is no timetable for his eventual return. Meltzer believes that when Jericho does return, it will be in a surprising fashion.
