AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on April 9 following the fallout of Dynasty.
According to Wrestlenomics, 659,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and the show drew a 0.17 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 594,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose slightly from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.16 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defeating Katsuyori Shibata in a non-title match.
In women’s action, Kris Statlander defeated Thunder Rosa in the first round of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament.
Will Ospreay, Kevin Knight, Mark Briscoe, and Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Ricochet, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, and The Beast Mortos in an eight-man tag match.
The main event of the show saw Samoa Joe and HOOK defeat Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. After the match, the Death Riders attacked HOOK, and Joe declared that The Opps are coming for the Trio Titles.
