Nikki Bella Seemingly Hints That She’s Competing At WWE Evolution 2

Evolution 2 isn’t official just yet, but it looks like Nikki Bella just dropped a big hint about the event happening.

This week’s episode of the Nikki & Brie show, Nikki Bella was discussing what’s next in her career. The sisters confirmed some of their plans for WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas, which includes an appearance at WWE World. During one exchange, however, Nikki mentioned a “big announcement” that involved something going down in July.

“It’s fun, because there’s going to be a really big announcement that people are going to be so excited for in July, which I’m dying. You know what I’m talking about,” Nikki Bella said.

“No…” Brie replied.

July,” Nikki stressed. “What am I in…”

“Oh! Yes,” Brie said, picking up on her sister’s hint. “Do you have to wait until then [to reveal it]?”

“Oh, I’m sure, [but] I don’t know,” Nikki added.

Is WWE Evolution 2 actually happening?

As noted, Evolution 2 has not been publicly confirmed by WWE yet. However, @WrestleVotes and Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays have reported that the event is on the books for this summer. Hays listed July 5, 2025, as a potential date of the event, and recently noted that a formal announcement is expected shortly before WrestleMania 41.

The original (and only, so far) WWE Evolution pay-per-view was an all-women’s professional wrestling event that took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York. As of now, it is the first and only Evolution event to take place in WWE.

Seven matches were on the Evolution event card, including three WWE women’s championships being defended on the card. The main event featured Ronda Rousey defeating Nikki Bella, while the penultimate match saw Becky Lynch defeat Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match. Toni Storm also defeated Io Shirai to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic, while Trish Stratus and Lita beat Mickie James and Alicia Fox on the show.
