Logan Paul Texted Dana White About Potential UFC Fight

Logan Paul tried to move into the world of UFC by texting Dana White about a potential fight at UFC 300.

The YouTube star has never been afraid to branch out into different fields. He was a big part of the YouTube boxing scene before jumping to the WWE. He found his calling in professional wrestling, quickly cementing himself as a top star in the WWE. WrestleMania matches and title wins followed, but Logan Paul had his eyes on competing in one historic show for the UFC.

Speaking on The Impaulsive Podcast, Logan Paul revealed that he tried to get in contact with Dana White with a view of fighting on UFC 300. That event took place at The Sphere in Las Vegas, the experimental dome that is unlike any other venue in the world.

The WWE Superstar revealed he texted Dana White, asking him to fight on the undercard for UFC 300. He was completely ignored, which told Logan Paul everything he needed to know about the idea.

“It would have been easy at one point—my skill is wrestling,” Logan Paul said. “I told Dana for UFC 300: I texted him, saying, ‘Consider me available to fight on the undercard in the Sphere.’ He basically completely ignored me, which, I think, spoke volumes. I haven’t bothered him since.”

Logan Paul Doesn’t Have Any Interest In Being A Babyface

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast with Joe Weller, Logan Paul was asked how he takes being a heel in WWE. The former United States Champion calls it “the best thing ever” and could imagine being a babyface ever again.

However, he explained how it bothered him when people would boo him originally but he eventually got over that feeling and became a great heel.

“We went to Cleveland—I was in Cleveland, had a thing there—walked out, and everyone booed me. I went backstage to Bruce, and he was crying. I go, ‘Do they understand that I could get out of that ring and pull any single one of them out and beat the f****** s*** out of them? Anyone, of any age, gender, or form?’ I was pissed. It hurt my feelings to get booed in my hometown.”

“Then he made a comment about Cleveland. He’s like, ‘Well, you know, it is Cleveland.’ Like—what? What is this place? That offended me. I was upset. And then something happened. A switch flipped. I realized how much power there was in being able to puppeteer the crowd, to really artfully manipulate their emotions.”

“Or not, by the way, because it’s a dance. Sometimes they’re [ __ ] with me, booing me out of the building, and it’s harder to get through my promos. Other times, I diss one of their favorite Superstars or the city in general, and I find so much pleasure in it. Truthfully, at this point, I can never imagine being a babyface. I have no interest. I am in my pocket out there at the moment., I love it,” added Logan Paul.
