Matt Riddle says two WWE stars were difficult to work with.
Speaking on Going Ringside (via News4JAX), Matt Riddle was asked to name his hardest opponent. He named Sheamus as his hardest opponent in the ring, but he was easy to work with. He noted that others were hard to work with, and he named Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Riddle also implied that it was difficult to communicate with them.
“When I think about who’s harder to maybe work with, I’d have to say Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens because it’s hard to put a complete sentence together with those guys, if you know what I’m saying,” Riddle said. “Yeah, they’re difficult. Sheamus hits you hard, but it’s easy to put together.”
WWE released Matt Riddle, a former WWE United States Champion, in September 2023. Riddle has been featured with MLW in recent months. He is the reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion, and he will defend the gold at MLW Battle Riot VII. Riddle has been active on the independent scene as well.
