Liv Morgan thinks the current era of wrestling is the best work the WWE has ever done.
The Women’s World Champion has been one of the top stars in the “Triple H Era” of wrestling. This has coincided with records crowds, huge revenues and a renewed interest in wrestling as a whole.
They’ve also managed to sign a huge new streaming deal with Netflix. The WWE signed a $5 billion contract with the streaming giants to show Monday Night Raw on their platform for the first time.
Liv Morgan spoke to TMZ Sports, and was asked about the recent deal the WWE signed with Netflix. She responded by saying it will bring more eyes to the product, including new and lapsed viewers.
The Women’s World Champion added that the WWE are doing the best work ever right now, so it will be a great opportunity for the company.
“Just new eyes and more viewers—anyone that you know hasn’t watched WWE in years or hasn’t watched WWE at all—it’s such an opportunity to get so many more eyes on this product. We’re doing the best work ever in this current era right now, and so for us to have the opportunity to get more people to enjoy that and to come along on this ride with us, I think, for me, is the most exciting part.”
Liv Morgan: Run With Dominik Mysterio Has Been Amazing
Liv Morgan continued. She was asked how her run with Dominik Mysterio has been since he turned on Rhea Ripley at Summerslam.
She said it has been “amazing”, calling herself a happy camper at the top of the WWE Women’s Division.
“It’s been awesome. It’s been amazing. I did exactly what I said I would do, I took everything away from Rhea Ripley. I took her title, her man, and her family. It’s all mine, so I’ve been on top of the world. I feel great.”
“The best part has been the vindication of my revenge, my redemption, doing exactly what I said. That doesn’t happen very often, that you end up doing exactly what you said that you were gonna do, but I did that. So I am at the top of the division, I am leading this division. This division is mine. I’m a happy camper with the Judgment Day, with Daddy Dom, with this women’s championship, so there’s no complaints over here.”
