Will Ospreay is excited to see what Ricochet is going to do in AEW.
Former WWE star Ricochet made his AEW debut at AEW All In. He competed in the Casino Gauntlet, and Tony Khan confirmed that he had signed with AEW. Even before Ricochet signed, many fans had been buzzing about a potential match between him and Will Ospreay, given their history.
Speaking at the AEW All In post-show media scrum, AEW International Champion Will Ospreay was asked about a potential rematch with Ricochet.
“So do I [want to see it],” Will Ospreay said. “I mean, man’s gotta work for it, though,” Will Ospreay said. “There’s a long list of people that he’s gonna have to beat before he can go after the International Champion. But I think it’s been eight years since our Best of Super Juniors match, and we’ve both gone in our separate directions, we’ve both done well. But now he’s under this microscope, and maybe, just maybe, I just called him out all those times just to see if he’s got any bollocks.
“He’s shown up, right, so I’d like to see what he’s gonna be doing here in AEW. I’m excited, and I’m really, really happy for him.”
