Bryan Danielson gave Will Ospreay his permission to use the Tiger Driver ’91 today, following a big brawl between Ospreay and MJF.
During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Ospreay was attacked by MJF ahead of their match at AEW All In. MJF was brutal in his ambush, bloodying Ospreay in front of a crowd that was excited to see Ospreay show up.
Later in the night, in a backstage segment with a bloody Ospreay, Danielson walked up to the man and gave him the okay. He told Ospreay that it was time to “do it,” referring to the infamous move. Prior to the night, Ospreay had said that he retired the move, after a scary spot with him and Danielson led to Danielson hurting his neck at AEW Dynasty.
Both Ospreay and MJF will go head-to-head at All In with the AEW American Championship on the line. After tonight’s escapades, Ospreay is going to be extra motivated to walk out of the “hometown” show on top.
