Bryan Danielson Says He’s Working Without AEW Contract

Heading into AEW All In, Bryan Danielson is working without a contract.

Danielson previously said that his talent contract was set to expire on August 1. He is still slated to headline AEW All In. There, he will face AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in a Title vs. Career match.

Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Bryan Danielson was asked about his contract status.

“I have no contract right now, I’m just not under contract, which is crazy,” Danielson said.

When asked whether anyone has reached out to him, Bryan Danielso replied, “Not a single person [laughs]. No [it doesn’t surprise me]. But it’s also, people who really know me know that I don’t look at my phone very much. I have 3,998 unread text messages. I’m almost at 4,000. There’s also a lot of missed calls, so there could have been somebody in there. But that would require me to go through and look at all of my missed text messages.”

Bryan Danielson Is Focusing On AEW All In

Danielson also said that, right now, he is focusing on AEW All In. He then noted that, after that, he wanted to spend time with his family and get more involved with his community.

“I’m focusing right now on All In and making the best it can be,” Bryan Danielson said. “But then after that, I want to be able to spend some time at home with my family, be involved more in my community. One of the most rewarding things that I’ve been able to do outside of wrestling is, we restored this tree, and it took several years. I’ve participated three or four times, this in Washington state, and donated money to help fund it and all that kind of stuff. That’s really rewarding. Participating in things like that and seeing meaningful change, that’s kind of my thing.
