Drew McIntyre Mocks Tom Brady’s ‘Real American’ Entrance

Drew McIntyre had some choice words on social media for Tom Brady.

The former WWE Champion has made the most of his social media reach during his current WWE feuds. Due to injuries to both men, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been trading shots on Twitter throughout their rivalry, helping it develop into one of the most heated of all time.

However, his focus is now Tom Brady, following his appearance at the Fanatics Fest on Thursday night. The NFL legend made a surprise appearance at the event, walking down the ramp to Hulk Hogan’s “Real American” entrance music, complete with his famous “hand to ear” pose.

WWE posted the clip of Tom Brady’s entrance on Twitter, saying “Hey @TomBrady, call us! Who’s going to @Fanatics Fest this weekend?”

This immediately drew the attention of the former world champion, as Drew McIntyre was quick to mock Tom Brady’s fun.

McIntyre posted a reply on Twitter, criticizing the former NFL star. He shared a brief comment designed to insult Tom Brady for enjoying himself in the world of wrestling.

“What a mark.” Drew McIntyre said on Twitter.

Drew McIntyre Says Personal Rivalries Are Where The Money’s At

Drew McIntyre views personal rivalries as the most exciting in wrestling, not title matches.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Drew McIntyre discussed the perception that his match against CM Punk was the true main event of WWE SummerSlam.

He also highlighted how personal rivalries were where the money was at. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)

“That means a lot. I heard it a few times since I got here,” Drew McIntyre said. “The fans were asked, they didn’t even know I was there, ‘What do you think the main event should be?’ They said, ‘Punk and McIntyre.’ The deep, layered storytelling we can do it. Personal rivalries is where it’s at. That’s where the money is at. That’s what makes people feel. If they’re feeling something out of this Punk and McIntyre feud, they should because it’s real. It does mean a lot to me. If anyone is on after us, good luck, folks.”
