It’s been a rough couple of weeks for DIY, but Johnny Gargano had a glorious idea to lift the spirits of Tommaso Ciampa…temporarily at least.
Johnny Gargano took to social media this afternoon to thank everyone for their birthday wishes and to bring back a Bobby Roode “Glorious Bomb” for the first time in years, tweeting out:
“Thank you for all of the birthday wishes today. Sometimes it’s better to give gifts than receive them, and this year more than any other, my friend needed an extra pick me up… and it was Glorious! #DIYRKO #OuttaNowhere @CiampaWWE,” Johnny Gargano said in a post.
In the video, Gargano attempted to cheer Ciampa up with the return of the Glorious Bomb and an appearance from Bobby Roode. This harkens back to their days in NXT when they would pull the Glorious Bomb on Roode in the most random locations.
Ciampa’s happiness was short-lived however when Randy Orton appeared and Ciampa once again failed at hitting him with an RKO.
