Damon Kemp (Bobby Steveson) Reflects On His WWE Release, Is Open To Return

Damon Kemp is open to a WWE return in the future if the company decides to make the call.

Former NXT Superstar Damon Kemp was a recent guest on the Get Comfy Podcast. When asked about his WWE release, Kemp said he didn’t expect it to happen to him but he’s keeping a positive mindset about the whole ordeal.

“It’s one of those things you don’t really expect to happen to you, especially how things were kind of going. It happens all the time. It’s part of business,” Damon Kemp said. “Just how things were shaping up. We were having a lot of fun. I was finally getting the ball rolling with the No Quarter Catch Crew, which was really exciting, too. I guess everything happens for a reason. When one door closes, another one opens.”

When asked if he’d be open to a WWE return, Kemp said there were no hard feelings and if they called him to come back he would.

“I’d accept. There are no hard feelings towards WWE. It was great. I loved it,” Damon Kemp said. “It was a great job for me and an opportunity to open up and to show a different side of me. It was great. If they called me back, I would go. There are no hard feelings.” [H/T: Fightful]
