Mariah May: I’m Looking Forward To Toni Storm’s Final Curtain Call

Mariah May is excited for AEW All In.

On August 25, Mariah May will tackle what she describes as the biggest match of her professional wrestling career. For this occasion, May challenges Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship in one of the world’s most famous venues — Wembley Stadium. As an added bonus, May will also be performing in front of her friends, family, and her home country crowd.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo, May opened up about the surreal feeling of wrestling in a world title match at AEW All In.

“This is absolutely the biggest match of my career,” May said. ‘This is All Elite Wrestling, this is All In, this is Wembley Stadium, which I actually visited today. It just brings back memories of being there when I was younger and seeing these huge artists and singers. I was like ‘It would be so cool to perform at Wembley,’ but I was just a kid. Didn’t know what I was going to do with my life.”

“I never would have dreamed that I actually would get to be at Wembley. So it’s definitely a dream come true. It’s definitely going to be incredible to have my family there, but honestly, the thing that I’m looking forward to most is Toni Storm’s final curtain call.”

As May alluded to, the circumstances surrounding this AEW Women’s Championship match extend well beyond the title itself. Upon May’s arrival to AEW last year, Storm would be positioned as her mentor. Upon winning the 2024 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament, though, May revealed that her true intentions lay not with learning from Storm, but taking her AEW Women’s Championship. As such, May brutally attacked Storm with the Owen Hart commemorative belt and Storm’s own shoe. Now, two prepare to go one on one at AEW All In.
