Buddy Matthews is back.
Buddy Matthews had been absent since he suffered an apparent injury on the June 15 episode of AEW Collision, and The Patriarchy attacked him. He made his return on the August 3 episode of AEW Collision, as he reunited with his House of Black stablemates Brody King and Malakai Black Black.
Matthews came out when King and Black came out to confront The Patriarchy. They sent the AEW World Trios Champions running, and the trio stood tall.
Buddy Matthews is a former AEW World Trios Champion, alongside Black and King. Now that they’re back together, it’s clear that they have their sights set on regaining the gold.
