All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match Set For 8/3 AEW Collision

A star-studded eight-man tag team match has been announced for the August 3 episode of AEW Collision.

AEW announced an All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match for Saturday’s show, which will be taped on August 3. Darby Allin will team up with Mark Briscoe and FTR to face The Beast Mortos, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett. This comes after Mortos pinned Briscoe in a trios match on the July 31 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Briscoe is the reigning ROH World Champion. He previously beat Strong to retain the title at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Plus, Taven and Bennett hold the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

Allin is coming off a major win, as he beat “Hangman” Adam Page in the main event of Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. He will challenge Jack Perry for the TNT Championship at AEW All In.

Meanwhile, The Acclaimed called out FTR and made it clear that they were coming to AEW Collision with the duo in their sights.
