Drew McIntyre Takes A Real Photo With Jack Perry, Says ‘Cry Us A River’

Drew McIntyre continues to troll CM Punk in epic fashion.

McIntyre posted the following photo of himself and AEW’s Jack Perry, along with a fitting caption:

“It’s a real photo, cry us a river,” McIntyre wrote on Twitter.

Some fans will remember that the “cry us a river” remark is a reference to Perry saying, “It’s real glass, cry me a river,” into the camera during the AEW All In 2023 broadcast. That comment came after Perry and Punk got into a now-infamous backstage fight at Wembley Stadium. This was due to an argument they had over Perry wanting to use real glass to take a backdrop onto a rental car for a planned spot.

Update: Drew McIntyre has deleted his post.

Drew McIntyre’s history with CM Punk

Punk and McIntyre have been feuding for most of the year. Punk was injured at the 2024 Royal Rumble and McIntyre bragged about putting him on the shelf. CM Punk has continued to interfere in McIntyre’s business, including costing him the WWE World title at WrestleMania. He also ruined McIntyre’s Money In The Bank cash-in earlier this month.

In response, McIntyre has continued to troll CM Punk online. This includes a recent barb where he brought up the hypocrisy of a phrase on Punk’s new t-shirt.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk are scheduled to face off at WWE SummerSlam on August 3, with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee. Prior to their match, they (and Rollins) will appear on the July 29 episode of RAW for a “Referee Instructions” segment.
