HANAKO Announced For NJPW Academy Showcase, New Texas PW, And MLW

HANAKO from the EXV faction in STARDOM will begin her mini excursion in the United States for the NJPW Academy Showcase later this August 3.

This appearance will be HANAKO’s first match in the United States. She has only competed outside of Japan once in a singles match for NJPW Wrestling World in Taiwan against Starlight Kid.

As of the time of writing, HANAKO has three scheduled wrestling events for the USA excursion. Following her USA debut in NJPW, she will also compete at New Texas Pro Wrestling’s Already Platinum show on August 25.

Major League Wrestling also recently announced that HANAKO will appear for their Summer Of The Beasts show just a few days after on August 29. The event will be live streamed for free on their official YouTube channel.

Brief background on HANAKO

HANAKO is still relatively new to the wrestling scene. While it may only be a little over a year since her debut, she has slowly risen to make a name for herself amidst a stacked STARDOM roster. At a height of nearly 6-feet tall, HANAKO is STARDOM’s tallest active competitor to date. She maximizes her major height advantage by utilizing power moves into her arsenal when competing. Earlier this year, she defeated Cosmic Angels’ Sayaka Kurara to become a finalist in the Rookie of Stardom 2024 Tournament. She is currently aligned with the EXV unit in STARDOM alongside Maika, Mina Shirakawa, Xena, and Waka Tsukiyama.
