Jordynne Grace proclaims if (or when) a big event goes down between TNA and NXT, TNA will come out on top.
TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace recently sat down with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. When asked about the ongoing relationship between NXT and TNA, Grace mentioned that even though no TNA talent was present on NXT Heatwave, they still made their presence felt with a Joe Hendry tease at the end.
“There wasn’t any TNA talent on the last NXT pay-per-view, but we did have a very important moment,” Jordynne Grace said. “Right after Ethan Page won the title, and the second before Heatwave went off the air, you saw that clip of Joe Hendry. If you blinked, you would have missed it. That was a very unique and special way to incorporate TNA into the NXT event.”
While a potential big event that would pit NXT against TNA isn’t out of the question, Grace isn’t certain the world is ready for that quite yet.
“I’ve mentioned this before–my big dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view,” Jordynne Grace said. “I think that’s going to be a slow build. And the world probably isn’t ready, but when it happens, they’re going to see TNA beat NXT.”
