WWE SmackDown‘s viewership increased on July 12.
According to Programming Insider, 2.355 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, drawing a 0.70 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 2.256 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.66 rating in the same demographic. SmackDown ranked first in the demographic on cable.
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Women’s Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton. It was interrupted by Bayley, Nia Jax, and Michin. This led to a match that saw Jax defeat Michin. Stratton teased a cash-in on Bayley after the match but Jax made her think better of it.
LA Knight announces he has a contract to face Logan Paul for the United States Championship at SummerSlam next month.
The main event of the show saw DIY defeat A-Town Down Under to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles.
After the match, Jacob Fatu then arrived and attacked everyone. The show ended with a segment between The Bloodline, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton.
