Mariah May brutally turned on Toni Storm.
In the main event of the July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, Mariah May defeated Wilow Nightingale to win the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. In doing so, she earned a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship, currently held by Toni Storm, at AEW All In.
May and Storm celebrated after the bell and made their way up the ramp. May then blindsided Storm by hitting her with the title belt repeatedly. Lutha tried to stop her, but May hit him and threw him through a table. May continued to attack Storm, and she blasted the champion with a shoe several times, making her bleed profusely.
AEW confirmed that May will challenge Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW All In.
