Lio Rush suffered an injury at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and he has been pulled from an upcoming independent event.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Lio Rush competed in the Ladder Match for the TNT Championship.
Following the conclusion of the pay-per-view, Beyond Wrestling announced that Lio Rush suffered an injury at the show. As a result, he would not be able to compete at their Americanrana event on July 4.
Rush has competed for AEW multiple times in recent weeks. Heading into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that he was expected to be a regular with the company going forward.
