Gabbi Tuft Makes In-Ring Return, First Match In Nearly Ten Years

Gabbi Tuft wrestled her first match in a decade this week.

Tuft, the former Tyler Reks, wrestled just once since leaving the WWE in 2012. This was a tag team match in 2014, before she seemingly hung up her boots and retired for good.

However, ten years later, she is back in the ring with a new gimmick. Tuft wrestled at West Coast Pro/UWN Killin’ Them Softly, beating J-Rod in a 19-minute match in the main event of the show.

Gabbi Tuft wrote on Twitter about her return match to wrestling. She thanked the promotion for letting her wrestle in the main event, revealing it got “this is awesome” chants from the crowd.

Tuft also tagged AEW and WWE in the post, perhaps teasing she is targeting a move to a top company soon.

“Last night @jrodprowrestle and I went 19 min in the main event and tore the house down with “This is awesome” chants. Thank you @WCProOfficial & @unitedwrestling for giving us the match time and the separate 10 min promo segment to light the room on fire Full match and promo video coming soon! Mother is here…and she is building her family.”

One user posted a video on Twitter of her entrance at the event. Gabbi Tuft was commanding two men in chains. They held a third person in their arms and carried them to the ring.

This is likely part of her “Mother” gimmick she mentioned in the Tweet. It could be the start of a bold new direction for Tuft, so we’ll have to see where she goes with it in the future.
