Nyla Rose is ready for her babyface run in All Elite Wrestling.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose was the latest guest on Close Up with Renee Paquette. When asked if perhaps she’s been miscast and a babyface run is something we need in the wrestling world, Rose said she believes we do, but she doesn’t think she was miscast either.
“So the short answer is yes, but I don’t think I’ve been miscast per se,” Nyla Rose said. “When AEW first started, we needed someone like me, the big meanie. But characters evolve over time, and I think we are at that point now if anything, I would say missed opportunities. I think, and I’m sure a lot of fans agree; I see the tweets.
“The fans have been wanting this for a while, and we try to get things going in that direction, but for one reason or another, there was always like a detour. So things got a little delayed, but I think we’re on that track now. I wish we could have done it a little sooner. I had some antics and ideas to go along with, but we can absolutely go back to them.”
