There is a record in WWE NXT that has yet to be broken, that is The Empress of Tomorrow Asuka’s undefeated streak.
She also holds the record for being the longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion. Recently, former WWE Superstar and a former NXT Women’s World Champion, Mandy Rose revealed that the Empress of Tomorrow was always her favorite opponent.
While speaking on a recent episode of her Power Alphas Podcast, Mandy Rose shared her thoughts on Asuka. A fan had asked who her favorite opponent was. Rose mentioned that it was always the longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion. The former leader of the Toxic Attraction mentioned that Asuka always brought out the best in her.
“Which opponent did I like the most? Oooh! I would say Asuka was always my favorite opponent. She is just so good. She’s been wrestling for so long, obviously. And I feel like, she always, always kind of brought the best out of me, someone who didn’t have as much experience out there. As much as there was a little bit of the language barrier at times, sometimes I had like my greatest matches with her cuz I just felt like she brought that energy. And she just brought that feeling out there and she moved so fast. So like, keeping up with her was always fun. So yeah, I would definitely say Asuka was one of my faves,” Mandy Rose said.
