LA Knight has targeted Logan Paul in recent weeks, as he has set his sights on the WWE United States Championship.
Paul blindsided Knight on the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown after Knight announced that they would clash in a Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifier on the June 28 episode.
Speaking on the SmackDown LowDown, LA Knight sent a message to Logan Paul.
“There is nothing that I like more than what happened tonight,” LA Knight said. “I tell you why, because that’s step one. Look, a couple weeks ago, I looked right now down this barrel. I said I want the US Title. What’d you do? You said no. I showed up at your house and everybody thought that was so haha and he-he, and it was funny. You know what? It was. But let’s talk about what it really was. It was a message, and if you didn’t get that message loud and clear, let me go ahead and spell it out for you. What I’m telling you, just the same way I showed up in your pool, I made it mine, I will show up, I will take that United States Championship, I will make it mine.
“You can blindside me, you can do anything you want, it doesn’t make a difference. Here’s the thing, my guy. Nobody’s ever given me the easy road. Nobody’s ever wanted to give me the grace to just take it easy. Nah, nah. That’s okay. I ain’t complaining about it. I’ll go the hard way, I will walk in the next week, I will lay you out. You got a target in your back so big right now, it doesn’t matter. Santos Escobar, good luck to you. It’s me, it’s Logan Paul. I am dropping you.”
LA Knight Looks Forward To WWE Money In The Bank
LA Knight continued by stating that he would beat Paul, win the Money in the Bank briefcase, and go on to take Paul’s title.
“Everything that you put in tonight, everything that you put in tonight, just realize the fact that you didn’t finish the job,” LA Knight said. “Realize the fact that you should have, and the fact that you didn’t is your biggest mistake because now I beat you next week, I go to Money in the Bank, I get the case, and then I’m coming for you, and then that US Title, everything that I want, everything that you love, then becomes mine.
“Why? Because I made it that way. Guess what? You can get beat up, or you can get sat down. Guess what the soundtrack is exactly the same, with everybody saying LA Knight. The championship’s mine.”
