The full results from the After The Rain show are as follows:

  • Tag Match: Arisa Shinose & Misa Kagura def. Yappy & Miria Kouga
  • 6-Person Tag Match: Anncham, Tsukina Umino, Nanae Furukawa def. Totoro Satsuki, Asuka Fujitaki, Yuna Manase

  • IWGP Women’s Championship Match: Mayu Iwatani def. Tsukasa Fujimoto via referee stoppage
  • Triangle Ribbon Championship Match: Yuki Mashiro (c) def. Unagi Sayaka & Mio Shirai
  • ICE x ∞ Championship Match: YuuRi def. Hamuko Hoshi

The main event of the show saw the finals of a round-robin league tournament to determine an ICE x ∞ Champion following its vacancy. The former champion, Ibuki Hoshi, relinquished her title due to her pregnancy. After a tough battle, it was YuuRi who came out victorious to become Ice Ribbon’s 38th ICE x ∞ Champion. YuuRi thanked her supporters on Twitter encouraging them to join her on this new journey as the top champion of the promotion.

On the other hand, the historic IWGP Women’s Championship match was unfortunately cut short. The challenger, Tsukasa Fujimoto, suffered a dislocated elbow about ten minutes into the highly competitive match. Though the challenger seemed to be persistent in pushing through, the referee called for the bell to prevent potential further damage. After the match, Mayu Iwatani wished for Tsukasa’s speedy recovery and asked her to challenge for the belt sometime in the future once she is fully recovered. Mayu then went on Twitter to thank the Ice Ribbon crowd at Korakuen Hall for the warm welcome as an outsider of the promotion.

WrestleZone will provide more information on Tsukasa Fujimoto’s injury status once it becomes publicly available.
