Lio Rush appears to be back in the fold as a regular member of the All Elite Wrestling roster.
Rush was initially part of All Elite Wrestling in 2021 before deciding not to renew his deal in 2022. At the time, there were reportedly issues between Lio and Tony Khan over some of Rush’s tweets towards him in December 2021.
But Rush made his surprise return to the company last month during the Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet Match and has reportedly impressed officials since. We now have an update in regards to Rush’s status with the company going forward.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), while he’s unable to confirm that Rush has signed a new deal with the company, he is expected to be a regular with them going forward. Rush has also been factored into the company’s creative plans moving forward.
Lio Rush will face Action Andretti on Rampage for a spot in the TNT Championship ladder match at Forbidden Door.
