Ric Flair Kisses A Depends-Wearing, Scooter-Driving Grandma In New ‘Woooo Energy’ Ad

Ric Flair puts a new, albeit odd, spin on his classic promo.

“The Nature Boy” has been hard at work this week. The 16-time World Champion accused Vince Russo, Eric Bischoff and Jim Herd of killing WCW. He apologized a day later after a spat with Russo, booking himself as a guest on Bischoff’s podcast.

He continues his interesting social media moves, with the latest ad for his “Woooo! Energy” drink. Having already signed a deal with AEW to promote the beverage, Ric Flair has taken to Facebook to advertise the energy drink.

In a video posted on the “Woooo Energy” Facebook page, Ric Flair appeared in a clip advertising the drink. In it, he chased “Grandma” accross a driveway, trying to get after her energy drinks. He gave her a kiss before leaving, taking one of the Woooo! Energy cans with him.

Depends wearing! Woooo! Grandma! Depends wearing! Woah woah woah! Scooter driving Grandma! Woooo, Woooo Energy drink! Woooo Woooo! Limousine riding…slow down Grandma, let me grab a drink! Woooo Woooo Woooo Woooo Wooo!”

It was at this point Ric Flair planted a kiss squarely on Grandma’s lips. She laughed as Flair gave one last “Woooo!” and walked away, as the video ended.

Whether or not Ric Flair chasing an old woman on a scooter is convincing anybody to buy “Woooo Energy” is another thing entirely. It does show how spry the WWE Hall of Famer is 75-year-old is, despite recent health scares.

Ric Flair Convinced Kurt Angle To Join WWE Over WCW

Despite being a legend in WCW, Ric Flair advised Kurt Angle to join the WWE instead.

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. He revealed he told Angle to join the WWE, claiming he’d be lost in the shuffle if he signed for WCW.

“I was working for WCW when I saw Kurt, and he said where should I go? And I called Vince right there from the gym and said you don’t want to go to Atlanta, brother. You will get lost.”

“We were at a gym working out in Nashville, Tennessee,” Ric Flair recalled. “I had met Kurt several times, and he walked over and said, ‘I’m thinking about getting into wrestling. What do you think about me going into WCW?’ I said, ‘Give me a minute.’ I went to the locker room, got my phone, called out, and called Vince. I put him on the phone, and he was working out with Dory Funk Jr. two weeks later.”
