Report: 120,239 Total Tickets Distributed For WWE WrestleMania 40

The ticket distribution for WWE WrestleMania 40 is now available.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics obtained new records from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission, which show the ticket distribution information for the two-night event at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Per Thurston, Night One on April 6 sold 56,147 tickets, and WWE gave 3,889 away for free. Night On’s total count was 60,036. It was noted that WWE submitted these numbers, which might not include suite attendees or credentialed media. During the broadcast, WWE announced 72,543 as the attendance.

The report also notes that Night Two on April 7 sold 56,758 tickets, with 3,445 being comped, bringing the total to 60,203. WWE announced 72,755 as the attendance on the broadcast.

Night 2 on Apr. 7 sold 56,758 tickets — slightly more than Night 1. 3,445 tickets were comped, for a total of 60,203 tickets distributed. WWE announced similar attendances for both nights, claiming 72,755 for Night 2.

The report states that the records indicate that both nights of WrestleMania were sell-outs, with no tickets unused.
