At their recent Dominion event, NJPW announced their second co-promoted event with their sister promotion STARDOM.
NJPW & STARDOM Historic X-Over 2024 will emanate live from the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium on Sunday, November 17th. The two companies confirmed the news at a joint press conference in October last year. However, details on the second Historic X-Over were only revealed at NJPW Dominion. Alongside the announcement, NJPW also confirmed the following major shows via their website:

- Monday, October 14, 2024, Ryōgoku Kokugikan, Tokyo
- Monday, November 4, 2024, Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium (EDION Arena Osaka)

- Saturday, January 4, 2025, Tokyo Dome, Tokyo: WRESTLE KINGDOM 19 in Tokyo Dome
The inaugural Historic X-Over event was held at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo on November 20, 2022. The show saw major success with multiple mixed tag matches featuring talent from both NJPW and STARDOM. It also featured the coronation of the first IWGP Women’s Champion in a match between Mayu Iwatani and KAIRI as the main event.
