Grayson Waller takes a shot at Johnny Gargano and The Way as he praises Austin Theory.
On the May 31 episode of WWE SmackDown, Tommaso Ciampa defeated Austin Theory following an inadvertent distraction from Grayson Waller. Waller said that he was the reason that Theory was relevant again. Theory and Waller then argued, and Ciampa scored the win.
Gargano then took to social media to say that he never spoke that way about Theory when they were in The Way together. Waller replied by calling The Way a Johnny Gargano vanity project. He said that Gargano made Theory look like a dumb mark who had to carry his bags. Waller also stated that Theory took off the moment he left that “cringe group.”
Grayson Waller is set to face Gargano on the June 7 episode of WWE SmackDown.
