“*Long Post*
“On the flight back to NYC from [the UK] and had some time to reflect over the last few days. It’s weekends like these that remind me why betting on myself was absolutely needed and the best decision I’ve ever made.
“Before I came back to wrestling last August, I strategically formulated a plan of attack and I’m thankful that up to this moment, everything that I’ve planned out for myself has come into fruition. Has it been easy, absolutely not, nothing worth it is ever easy, but the feeling of accomplishment and self worth is something that can’t be replaced.
“To those afraid to take a leap of faith and go full force with anything you want to do, I’ll let you know this..fear has killed more dreams than anything. We live one life. When it’s done, it’s done. Go after whatever makes you happy and fulfilled. Because when it’s all over, you’re either going to say, “damn I wish I would’ve…” or “FCK YEA I DID THAT!”
YOU HOLD THE KEYS.
“What an insane month it’s been. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. THE BEST IS YET TO COME. LETS FCKN GET IT! ???,” Mike Santana tweeted.
Another Day
During a recent interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard, Santana opened up about the motivation his inspirational social media posts featuring coffee mugs.
“I have no idea [where the idea came from]. I did it one time, and then people were like, ‘This is cool.’ I have so many mugs. Then my grandmother started getting me mugs. My daughter gets me mugs all the time. So I was like, ‘Okay, well, let’s make this a thing.’ Like you said, I’ve always been one to share positivity and motivation as much as I can,” Santana said.
“The internet and that [Twitter] app in general just always spews so much negativity. So, let me be a little speck of positivity within all that mess. I rarely respond to trolls and stuff like that. There’s no need. I’m the type of person, I’m not going to give energy to someone that I’m probably not going to see in person and confront in person, so it’s not even worth wasting my time. Social media to me is a tool to market yourself, a tool to get things out there. Everything else is just crap.”
“It’s funny because my grandmother gets me a few of them, and she goes on Twitter or whatever. She’ll look at which one I’m having today, and she’ll text me. She’s like, ‘Oh, I remember I got you that one or whatever.’ Coffee mugs all day,” Santana said.
