Becky Lynch has still not signed a new deal with WWE, and her contract is just a few days away from expiring with the company.
According to a new report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Lynch’s deal with WWE is still set to expire on June 1, 2024, at which point she would become a free agent. The report went on to mention that the two sides have been in communication on a new deal, but nothing has materialized yet.
While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, Fightful notes that it’s believed by many that, whenever and wherever Lynch signs a deal, it’ll be the “biggest offer of any woman in pro wrestling history.”
Becky Lynch will compete tonight for the WWE Women’s World Championship
“The Man” is currently planned to compete in a WWE Women’s World Championship match against Liv Morgan tonight on WWE RAW in a Steel Cage match. Lynch will be looking to win back the belt she lost at WWE’s King and Queen of the Ring.
Speaking to Adam Silverstein on Getting Over earlier this year, Becky Lynch was asked whether there had been any movement toward re-signing or if there was any doubt that she would stay with the company.
“All in the ether,” Becky Lynch said. “It’s all up for conversation. Nobody’s actually asked me that. Nobody’s asked me about that. Nobody has said anything to me about it, so I was wondering if anybody had noticed [laughs].”
