Sting‘s son Steven Borden is training to be a wrestler.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) spoke with Darby Allin for a new interview. Allin was Sting’s tag team partner for the last chapter of his in-ring career. Sting competed in his retirement match at AEW Revolution. There, he and Allin defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks. Sting’s sons Garrett and Steven were involved in the match, both for the entrance and for a spot in the bout as well.
In the yet-to-be-released interview, Allin stated that Steven is training to be a wrestler, and he is staying at Darby’s house. Allin said that participating at AEW Revolution had seemingly given Steven the bug to start training. Per Allin, he talked to the father-son duo and extended the invitation.
In the past, Steven said that entering wrestling had not been his intention. However, he said his future was more “murky” after his involvement at AEW Revolution.
The full interview will be released on May 23, and it will be available here.
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on Wednesday.
