The opening of NXT left everyone wondering what was in the envelope.
NXT Champion Trick Williams kicked off the April 30 episode of WWE NXT, which marked the second night of the Spring Breakin’ special. Williams thanked the man he beat for the title, Ilja Dragunov, for everything he did for him and NXT. He then wished Dragunov well on RAW, as he had been drafted to the red brand.
Williams went on to christen the new era the “Whoop That Era” as he looked forward to the future.
Lash Legend interrupted, and after things got a little flirty, Legend said that she had something for Trick. She waved an envelope around and said that it was the “truth.” Legend told Williams to enjoy his title reign but warned him that it would all come crashing down.
Later in the show, Lash Legend was asked about the envelope. Her Meta-Four stablemate Noam Dar invited Trick Williams to be a guest on Supernova Sessions the following week and said they would reveal all.
