NXT’s Blair Davenport is officially headed to WWE’s “blue brand,” as she was selected by WWE SmackDown in the WWE Draft.
Davenport was selected on Monday during WWE RAW, where Night Two of the Draft was held. Davenport could be seen in the WWE Performance Center surrounded by other NXT talent. After being picked, she and Shawn Michaels shared an embrace, while the rest of NXT’s roster cheered her on.
Davenport originally signed with WWE in 2021, where she wrestled mostly on the NXT UK brand. She moved over to the U.S. branch of NXT in 2022, and won the 2023 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline in 2023. Most recently, Davenport faced Sol Ruca at NXT Spring Breakin’ Week One, where Ruca beat her in a Beach Brawl.
