The pay figures for some of the top executives of TKO have been disclosed.
Jill Goldsmith of Deadline has shed some light on the payments that some of TKO’s higher-ups, including CEO Ari Emanuel, received in 2023.
Citing TKO’s proxy statement filed with the SEC last year, Goldsmith writes that Emanuel received a substantial pay package in 2023, valued at $65 million. The package was made up of a $911,000 base salary, a cash bonus of $24 million, and $40 million in stock awards.
TKO COO Mark Shapiro — who was promoted in April 2023 — also took home a pay package totaling $16 million.
The statement highlighted the success of both WWE and UFC as key factors to the company’s success and noted that the financial results helped establish incentive compensation levels and determine compensation for named executives.
WWE and UFC officially merged to form TKO in September 2023.
