Mace and Mansoor showed up where nobody ever expected, and it was amazing.
The former WWE Superstars made their shocking debuts for Soft Ground Wrestling this week. SGW is a Uganda-based promotion that has gone viral on social media in recent weeks. They wrestle in a ring made of mud, and their humorous, over the top characters have been taken into the internet’s heart.
One of their most interesting characters in the heel wrestler Lord White. His gimmick is that of a colonizer, and he uses his means to get one over on the other Ugandan wrestlers.
Mace and Mansoor, also known as MxM, confronted Lord White during the recent SGW event. The crowd erupted as the duo appeared out of nowhere to end Lord White’s reign over the company once and for all.
They fought off a number of wrestlers in the mud-based ring, hitting their signature moves on the Ugandan wrestlers. The offical SGW Twitter account posted the clip to their Twitter page.
After fighting off the Ugandan wrestlers, Mace proclaimed, “Today, we achieved the dream!”.
Mojo Rawley Tweeted About Mace and Mansoor’s Appearance In SGW
Other former WWE Superstars got in on the action, with the former Mojo Rawley tweeting about Mace and Mansoor’s appearance in Uganda.
He revealed the pair volunteered to appear in the promotion, paying their own airfair to support the fledgling promotion.
“My friends @suavemansoor & @GREATBLACKOTAKU flew all the way to Uganda on their own dime to support @SGWug . They weren’t asked to go, they reached out and volunteered because they respected their hustle and love for the business. It cannot be understated how awesome they are.”
