It seems like Drew Gulak is sleeping with the fishes.
On the April 16 episode of WWE NXT, Charlie Dempsey and his No Quarter Catch Crew stablemates confronted Tony D’Angelo and The Family. For the second week in a row, Drew Guak was conspicuous by his absence. D’Angelo then noted that Dempsey had The Family “take care” of a member of the group.
Dempsey responded that it was a matter of “taking care” of someone. D’Angelo cut him off and told him to pay up. Dempsey replied by saying that he thought D’Angelo was doing it for the good of the business. He stated that there was “trash”, and it needed to be taken care of.
Drew Gulak has been embroiled in controversy in recent weeks. Ronda Rousey claimed that he grabbed the string on her sweatpants backstage. Gulak then said it was an accident, and that he apologized. He was reportedly pulled from multiple appearances over WrestleMania weekend, and there were said to be no plans for him.
Corey Brennan of Fightful Select has reported that Drew Gulak is no longer internally listed as a member of No Quarter Catch Crew.
Update: Brennan later reported that, when asking about Gulak getting written off NXT, he was told that he “won’t be back for a while, if at all.”
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
