WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio shares his thoughts on Andrade’s return to the company.
Andrade returned to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble premium live event. He previously left WWE when he was released in 2021. Since his return, he has aligned with the LWO. At WrestleMania 40, Andrade and Rey Mysterio beat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar.
Speaking with The Wrestling Classic at the media event ahead of WrestleMania 40, Rey Mysterio was asked to share his thoughts on Andrade’s return.
“It’s cool, it’s really cool. I wish we had him on SmackDown,” Rey Mysterio said. “I would love to have him be a part of the LWO. Maybe one day, never say never. But I respect his talent, I respect what he does in the ring. He’s an incredible representative of lucha libre, and I admire him.”
Andrade is set to face Dominik Mysterio on the April 15 episode of WWE RAW. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
