Ilja Dragunov was not the only NXT Champion who competed on the RAW after WrestleMania.
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez made a surprise appearance on the April 8 episode of WWE RAW and faced former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell. They battled back and forth, and despite Candice LeRae’s interference, Perez scored the win when she raked Hartwell’s eyes and hit the Pop Rox.
The match marked Perez’s in-ring debut on RAW. She previously competed on SmackDown in October 2022, and she has been in two Royal Rumble matches. Perez was seemingly representing NXT after the won the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver; during RAW, WWE announced that the WWE Draft would be held on April 26 and 29.
Later in the show, Natalya confronted Perez backstage and told her she would see her on NXT.
